At the Harbor, we love and value children! We believe that it is important to disciple the next generation. One of our values is helping children have deeper Bible experiences through a year-round curriculum which provides creative, hands-on teaching that encourages your kids to DIG IN deeper to the lessons the Bible teaches us, all while helping them to know Jesus personally and to grow in their own personal relationship with Him.

Children’s Pastor 

Danelle Scherer has served on the Children’s Ministry team since 2017 as a Sunday school teacher, where she became passionate about child discipleship. After resigning her position as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse she accepted the calling as the Children’s Ministry Director . Danelle homeschools her 3 young children and continues to be passionate about sharing the truth of the Gospel through Sunday school and the Awana program. Danelle was licensed as a pastor in the summer of 2024.
