Preparing Students for the 21st Century

At Pine Harbor Christian Academy (PHCA), we strive to be God's instrument in the development of children. Our purpose is to give children a quality education while training them to bring their lives into a right relationship with God and one another, using the Bible as our standard of truth.

Our mission is to provide a safe, quality, nurturing, Bible-based academic environment for students to discover their destiny in Jesus Christ.

Parental Responsibility
In order for children to receive the full benefit of a Christian education, they must receive consistent messages from school, church and family. PHCA works with parents to provide a consistent and quality education for every child.

Excellence in Education
The Academy provides an excellent education, using small class sizes and a nurturing environment to prepare young minds to compete in the 21st century. The Bible is the focal point and basis of our education; it is the students' guide for all learning and personal development.

PHCA grades K-6 uses the latest curriculum by Alpha Omega, ACSI and A Beka Publications. All students receive daily instructions in Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Bible, History and Science. Students are also provided with weekly opportunities to participate in computer, physical education, music and home economics.

Pine Harbor Christian Academy offers a full day every day Kindergarten program. All faculty members are certified teachers. They are carefully selected on the basis of education, experience and integrity. An unselfish dedication to children also weighs heavily in the selection process. The Academy is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). This organization provides various educational programs and opportunities for both students and staff.

"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it." - Proverbs 22:6 (NIV)

Admissions Policy
PHCA maintains high academic and moral standards. We admit students of any race, color, nationality, or ethnic origin. At the Academy, we seek to instill in each student a strong trust and dependence on God.

Transportation
PHCA does not provide transportation. The Hastings and South Washington County School Districts will provide bus transportation for Academy students living in those particular districts. Some parents car-pool, making those arrangements on an individual basis.

Enrollment
Contact the school office at 651-493-7526 during regular school hours 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., and they will provide you with the necessary information for registration. After school hours leave a message and a staff member will return your call.

The Challenge
Growing up in today's society is a challenge accompanied by many pressures. It is increasingly crucial in the formative years of children's lives that they receive adequate guidance.
