Gifts Discovery Class

Our next Gift’s Discovery Class will be held on Thursdays Sept. 18 thru Dec. 4 from 7-9pm. Come and discover your gifts! Cost is $10. Child care is provided. Call Pastor Sharon Bower 651-437-9770 ext 2602 to register.

Food Distribution

The Harbor Church has partnered with the St. Paul Evangelistic Association (SPEA) to provide food for families living in South Washington County, Eastern Dakota County and Pierce County who are struggling to cover housing, utility and food needs for their families. The Harbor purchases a truckload of food from the SPEA that will contain enough food to feed 300 families for a week. The food includes milk and dairy products, fresh bread, fresh produce and meat. The next distribution times will be on Saturday Dec. 13 from 9:00am-12:00pm (or while supplies last). There is a suggested donation of $15 per family; however, no one will be turned away due to the inability to pay.

Breakfast at Homeless Shelter

You are invited to help show Christ’s love in a tangible way—we are serving breakfast on Saturday Dec. 27 at the Ramsey County Family Service Center in Maplewood. Please visit the Love In Action table for the details.

Serve Dinner at Loaves & Fishes

We will be preparing and serving dinner at Loaves & Fishes on the west side of St. Paul on Monday, Dec. 29. Volunteers are needed to help prepare, serve and clean-up. We will be serving dinner at Loaves & Fishes 4 times per year, on the 5th Monday of the month. To sign up to serve call Pastor Marv Johnson at 651-437-9770 ext 2604.

Alpha is Coming!

The Alpha course is an opportunity to explore life’s big questions in a safe environment. No question is too hostile and no question is too stupid. Some of the biggest questions are questions about God, so we’ll be exploring these as well. We will also take a look at the historical person of Jesus and his claims that he is the son of God. So, if you don’t have life all figured out, if you have questions you want to explore or if you are interested in learning more about Jesus, we would love for you to attend. Alpha meets on Tuesday evenings from 6:30 until 9:15. Please join us on January 20th to check it out. Dinner is served each evening and childcare is available. For more information or to register, please contact Pastor Marv Johnson at 651-437-9770 ext 2604.

Beta

Learning to Walk with God. Walking with God is a joy, honor and privilege. Sometimes though, it is not so easy to know how one would go about beginning or enhancing their journey. This course is about entering that adventure and learning how to truly abide in Him. The Beta course meets on Tuesday evenings beginning January 20th from 6:30 until 9:15. Dinner is served each evening and childcare is available.
